Each competitor gets blindfolded and sits behind the protection screen.  The judge randomly chooses a container, opens it, and feeds a teaspoon full of the food to the contestant.  Once the judge has closed the container, the competitor removes their blindfold and writes down their guess.

NOTE:  Be as specific as possible.  The judge will look at the guess and inform the competitor if more detail is needed.  Example, “sauce” would need more details, such as “tomato sauce” while “turkey gravy” would be sufficient.

The judge will make a note on how many the competitor got correct.  All contestants will do their tasting prior to the next round.

After all contestants have tasted and made their guesses, the judge will reveal their scores (and inform/confirm the five foods).

The contestants now have to search for twenty-five (25) Cheerios that are in a bowl filled with the foods they got WRONG.  If they got multiple foods wrong, all the “wrong” foods get mixed together with the Cheerios; if a competitor gets all five correct, they can choose which one (1) food they want to search.

No gloves are allowed.

Each competitor gets 30 seconds to search the food for Cheerios.  The number of Cheerios found is the number of Cheerios the competitor receives (new clean ones) for the next round.

All contestants will do their search prior to anyone doing the last round (everyone gets time to clean up and dry their hands).

The final round is to stack Cheerios on a flat surface.  When the third Cheerio is placed, the stacks has to stand for 3 seconds (to be counted off by Marc).  The competitor than places a fourth, fifth, etc.  After each round, the stack must stand for the three seconds.

The contestant’s score is the number of Cheerios in the last stack that remains standing for 3 seconds.  A stack falling over ends the turn.  Tiebreaker is for the tied contestants to make stacks again and see who gets it taller.
