Each competitor is asked three trivia questions.  The number of correct answers results in the corresponding sized spoon:

  • 3 correct answers gets the SERVING SPOON
  • 2 correct answers gets the TABLESPOON
  • 1 correct answer gets the TEASPOON
  • 0 correct answers gets the MINI SPOON

The competitor then has to carry an egg on their spoon along the road.  Wherever the competitor drops the egg, is how many questions they get in the next round.  There will be three lines (distances) past which results in the following questions:

  • Closest to start:  3 questions
  • Middle from start:  6 questions
  • Farthest from start:  9 questions

The number of correct answers results in the corresponding sized scoop:

  • 3 correct answers gets the LARGE SCOOP
  • 2 correct answers gets the MEDIUM SCOOP
  • 1 correct answer gets the SMALL SCOOP
  • 0 correct answers gets the TINY SCOOP

The competitor gets to use their scoop to transfer 3 scoops of water from a large bucket to a red solo cup–the more water transferred the better.

The competitor has to walk with the cup upside down, with a hand covering the opening, along the next path.  After turning their cup back right side up, the competitor has to answer six trivia questions.

They get one shot glass per correct answer.  After all six questions are asked, the competitor fills their shot glasses from the large cup.

The shot glasses, with water, are weighed.  The competitor’s score is the total weight of the shot glass(es) and water.
