Each competitor removes blocks from the tower. All pieces removed must be from the bottom third until there is one block on each row. Then blocks can be removed from the middle third.
Once the tower falls, the competitor receives one (1) beanbag throw per block removed.
The competitor then gets to throw the beanbag(s) at the desktop cornhole.
For each beanbag in the hole, the competitor gets three (3) random Banangram tiles. For each beanbag on the cornhole (removed for next throw), the competitor gets one (1) random tile. Each beanbag is removed before the next throw.
After the beanbags are thrown, the competitor receives the tiles.
There is a 5 minute timer during which the competitor makes as many words as they can within the following rules/scoring:
- Words must be at least two letters
- Words can be connected in a crossword-type layout
- Tiles can be used only once unless part of a crossword-type layout
- Words with 5+ tiles = 8 points
- Words with 4 tiles = 6 points
- Words with 3 tiles = 3 points
- Words with 2 tiles = 2 points
- All tiles used = bonus 5 points
